It could be, but I don't notice it with plain xine. (btw, this 
transponder is now transmitting luxe tv instead of astra demo).

Vdr recordings are ok? (note that I'm still using a patched 1.7.0, so 
the recordings are probably pes, not ts).

It's the whole desktop, I'll try with compositing disabled.
