I'm now trying xine-lib 1.2 from mercurial and it seems much better,
though not completely solved: there are still artifacts however the so
annoying jumps back in time have gone (of course it could be the
different kind of transmission, live tennis now, but it also plays back
correctly a short clip that had the jumps before).
